I think part of what makes this one stand out so much is the way it’s first revealed to the audience – we see a fleet of Imperial Star Destroyers being eclipsed in the shadow of something huuuuuge. It’s massive, sleek, and intimidating as all hell.

The design is pretty incredible, it takes everything cool about the original Star Destroyer and then adds steroids. This ‘Super Star Destroyer’ of course first shows up in “The Empire Strikes Back” (and is later destroyed in “Return of the Jedi” during the Battle of Endor – unceremoniously crashing into the second Death Star). Early in the War, the Separatists Alliance created a heavy cruiser that held the capability to shoot a powerful ion canon that could knock out the power systems of a Venator.

The ship was used in countless battles such as the Battle of Coruscant. ‘The Executor’ – Darth Vader’s Imperial Flagship is one badass mofo. The Venator-Class Star destroyer was used throughout the Clone Wars and into the early years of the Empire. When I was growing up, this was hands down, my favorite ship in anything ever.
